Our LEARNING Centre provides tutorial  assistance to children who are having difficulty with their school work or those who need some extra help to achieve their goals.

We cater for children underachieving, children who need extra individual attention and children who have given up trying. We can also offer extension work for more able students. The junior subjects tutored are: Reading, Comprehension, Spelling, Writing, Literacy and Maths/Numeracy.

Talk to us about our senior NCEA options; we can provide help in a number of subject areas at most levels.

We offer the following services:

Free, no obligation, assessment.

Individual, graded programmes and homework activities.

An emphasis on written work.

Some computer-assisted practice which helps motivate the student.

Work relevant to the child’s school needs.

Professional, experienced teachers

Neutral low-key setting – not home, not school.

A positive learning environment in which success is there for all children.

We use a range of teaching methods using  research proven computer assisted learning programs along with written exercises , complemented by teacher support and encouragement.
We match your child’s programme to the New Zealand curriculum to ensure that they are also successful at school. At your child ‘s free assessment, we will identify areas that would benefit from extra help, establish goals for their time here, and develop an individualised programme of work to  allow them to achieve those  goals.
